An.Jell’s leading variety man, Lee Yong Chul, surprised audience’s a few weeks ago as a guest act along with Clover’s angelic vocalist, Skylar Nam on KBS’s second season of Immortal Song. The producer’s mentioned that Lee Yong Chul was considered as a regular but it interfered with the singer’s other schedules.

The duo sang the popular duet “Scars Deeper Than Love” originally performed by Yim Jae Bum. The young pair brought a soft and powerful tone to the performance with Yong Chul’s smooth vocals and Skylar’s powerful undertone. Judges deemed the performance “perfect” and applauded their hard work on a simple guest performance.

Fans of Lee Yong Chul expressed their displeasure with the performance by saying the fan dubbed “ladies man” had no chemistry with Skylar and that the performance fell flat because of that. Despite this, Rsquared expressed interest in using the two for a duet on a future album. Both artists said they enjoyed working with each other and wouldn’t mind doing it again.
