Wanderlust’s Chin Mi Yeon, who badly injured her ankle at Wanderlust’s first independent concert, stepped on stage the following day with her foot wrapped in a cast.

Mi Yeon had a solo performance at Wanderlust’s independent concert which took place at Olympic Park on February 18th, and injured her foot while exiting the stage. No one was sure whether she would be able to continue with the following performances, but Mi Yeon endured the pain and stood on stage the next day.

Wanderlust’s agency Triple A Artists, stated, “Even after she hurt her foot the first day, Chin Mi Yeon finished the entire performance despite her injury. When it was over, we called in an acupuncturist and took emergency measures. We were told that she would have to wear a half-cast and that she would not be able to partake in the performances to follow.”

“Despite her circumstance, Mi Yeon was determined not to give up, as she did not want to miss Wanderlust’s first ever independent concert,” they continued.

Her determination showed, as Mi Yeon well performed “Beat It“, a song that requires intense choreography.

Girl group Wanderlust is getting ready for their comeback and for their solo activites.

Last September, Wanderlust received much love for their third album title song “Step” and they are expected to release a new album in Korea this year.

The girls is expected to bring a new image from solo songs that are to be released by each member.Chin Mi Yeon is expected to do a collaboration with a famous male singer and will reveal a different side of herself. Information about the other members’ solo activities have yet to be revealed.

Currently Wanderlust is preparing for their first solo concert that is to be held on February 18 and 19 at the Seoul Olympic Park Stadium, and will then follow with an Asia tour.

Following rumors of trainee Im Hyun Woo and Wanderlust’s Chin Mi Yeon dating, RSquared Management has issued a statement claiming the two are merely “close”. No further explanation was given whether or not the two are a couple or if it means they are only friends. Im Hyun Woo is set to debut in December with a mini-album featuring an impressive list of popular artists under the name of Arian.

The newest couple to join MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘ was finally been confirmed to be St4tik’s Baem Ji Hun and Wanderlust’s Chin Mi Yeon! 

In their first episode, the pair met in a practice room at the Triple A Artist’s  building.

The new couple was revealed briefly in an extended teaser for the couple’s first episode. When it was revealed that Baem Ji Hun, known for his gentlemanly charisma, was to be paired with Chin Mi Yeon, the 4D tomboy idol of Wanderlust, some tilted their heads at the odd pairing.

The WGM PD revealed that his choice behind the pairing was that, “The two young idols have such differing images, yet are good friends, that we thought it would be interesting to see the two paired together. The two are very comfortable with each other, and we thought that it would be more accurate to portray two ‘newlyweds’ that are more used to each other. We have high expectations for these two young idols to bring a lot of laughs.” And judging from the short preview that was revealed of the couple, the PD was right: they already seemed to be bickering at their first filming.

It has been a few months since we first heard about girl group Wanderlust’s contract dispute, involving four of the five members: Choi Ae Cha, Kim Seo Hyun, Chin Mi Yeon, and Amy Song. The four girls had reportedly declared that they were planning to terminate their contracts with Triple A Artists early, due to unfair treatment among members and poor management on the part of their management. Leader Cha Na Mi was the only member of the group who was not involved in the contract dispute. Because of the split among the group, people began to wonder if they would become the “second Midas.”

But thankfully, about a month ago, the girls and the management revealed that the two parties had reached a compromise: new and more experienced management would be chosen to manage Wanderlust’s activities, and that revenue and scheduling would be more fairly distributed between members. 

Along with this good news, Wanderlust surprised us again just this morning. It seems that before the contract dispute took place, Wanderlust had already started to record their new album, titled STEP, and had been halfway through the recording. Triple A revealed that the girls got together soon after the contract dispute was resolved and had gone back to the recording studio to finish up the album. Triple A revealed the title song, STEP, along with the music video earlier this morning via YouTube, which has already become a top viewed video on the popular video sharing website. Wanderlust’s full album will be revealed next week. It’s good to see that the girls are back!
